Recruitment / job scam warning

Fraudulent websites — which change frequently, such as mancbrandstudioscreative.cyou and maniicdbran.com — along with people posing as our recruiters on WhatsApp, Telegram, and job boards such as JobStreet (including Malaysian +60 and Mexican +52 numbers, using names such as “Wilson Lee”), are offering paid “brand promotion” or “opinion poll” tasks with escalating daily earnings and a referral “MD code.” To appear genuine, they even copy Manic’s real company registration details.

How to spot the scam

• Our only genuine website is wearemanic.com, and we email only from @manic.com.sg.

• We have no jobs portal, registration page, or task platform, and never recruit through agents, referral codes, or any third-party “working website” or app.
• We never pay “daily earnings” or “commissions,” never use “MD codes,” and never ask you to register, complete tasks, deposit money, or pay any fee.
• We will never ask for your bank details, card numbers, or OTPs.

If you’ve been contacted

Do not register, pay, or share anything. The “just register, no personal details needed” line is part of the trick — the fake site still harvests your phone number, password, and date of birth.

If you already registered on a fake site

Stop all contact and do not deposit any money. If you reused that password anywhere else, change it now.

Report it

In Singapore, contact the ScamShield Helpline 1799, use the ScamShield app, or report at scamshield.gov.sg and to the Singapore Police Force. If a specific platform was used (WhatsApp, Telegram, JobStreet, LinkedIn), report the account there too.
